These branches include Tap dancing, Jazz, Limbering, Musical Comedy and Theatrical Studies. She was a fully registered Dance Teacher in both Australia and Britain . Lynda was a long standing member of the Teachers Australia Academy of Dance (T.A.A.D) which covers ballet, jazz and tap styles of dance. She designed and co-wrote with Christine Waters the Jazz Dance Syllabus which is used in T.A.A.D. exams today. Lynda danced in and choreographed many professional and amateur shows in Britain and Australia including being choreographer for shows for the Tivoli Theatre in Melbourne , and several TV shows. An experienced Teacher, performer, Choreographer and Director, she encouraged her students to develop their creative talents and was a great motivational force in giving her students a "love of dance" and furthering their careers in the professional world of theatre and teaching.
We follow this tradition to keep her legacy alive. |
