School Uniform

Please note: Correct uniform is a part of discipline and training so it is important for all students to attend classes properly dressed.

Classical Cecchetti Exam Uniform	Pink ballet tights Pink ballet shoes or pink pointe shoes	Jazz & Tap Uniform for all Tan tap shoes & tan jazz shoes (Tan tights for tap exams with exam shorts)
Fairies, & Tinies	Pale Pink Leotard & tutu skirt	Black sleeveless leotard & jazz pants or shorts Tan jazz shoes All Students - Class only Jazz & Tap For class for jazz and tap you may have the choice of your exam classical leotard or the mulberry leotard. Shorts may be worn or 3/4 tights. Black jazz shoes may also be worn. Logo singlets, t/shirts and l/s t/shirts can be worn over the top in the sub senior and senior school.
Pre-Primary to Grade 3	Dusty Pink leotard & skirt
Grade 4 to Grade 6	Jacaranda leotard & skirt
Intermediate & over	Navy leotard & skirt	Warm-up Tops Matching warm-up tops must be worn for classical ballet in exam classes. Crossovers are available in all colours.Harmonie knitwear is available in Black, Tea Rose (matches dusty pink & mulberry), Jacaranda & Pale Pink. School jackets may be worn waiting for class however they must be removed before class. Pale pink legwarmers may be worn for winter & black legwarmers in jazz & tap or in classical for open classes and for seniors. * Remember to label all clothing & shoes clearly and ensure you only take home your shoes & clothing. Check your bag to make sure you have all your dance gear and not anyone elses.*

School Logo Jackets

Our school jacket is compulsory for all external examinations and competitions. All students will be expected to wear either black pants, black jeans or jazz flares with their jackets. Any style of pant is fine as long as it is black and of course without holes!!

Our logo t/shirts & singlet's can be worn under the school jacket and can be worn by the sub senior & senior school over leotards as an alternative to crossovers. Junior school will still wear dusty pink or jacaranda crossovers. No senior will be permitted to wear any other colour top. Uniform does not include sloppy windcheaters etc so these are a great option.

Adults

Adults may wear comfortable clothing such as tracksuit pants, dance pants, singlet tops or t/shirts. Appropriate footwear for class being attended.

General Uniform Requirements

• No sloppy t/shirts or windcheaters or track suit pants are to be worn by any class.

• Hair is not to be down at any time, for any class. It must be worn in a bun for ballet and neatly in a bun, braids or ponytail for other classes.

• No jewellery or watches are to be worn in class. This is a safety issue for students. If ears are pierced only small studs or sleepers can be worn. Large hanging or hoped earrings are dangerous, as are beads bracelets and wristbands.

• Students not dressed in the appropriate uniform will be asked to watch the class only. Uniform in the wash or not available will not be accepted without a letter from the parent. A letter informing the parent of non-uniform will be sent home at the end of class.
